I'm Jim Ferrie. I'm a songwriter performer and producer based in South-East England who performs and records under the artist name "Jimmy The Dog".

Jimmy The Dog's latest album, Rattlesnake Love, is strongly influenced by Classic American Rock and Blues in style and sound, with a nod to Outlaw Country. Rattlesnake Love is the fifth JTD album and comes with more edge than the previous albums, returning to a retro blues-influenced harder rock style tinged with alt-country in some tracks and you'll probably hear some of my influences when listening to the album; Tom Waits, Tom Petty, Steve Earle, AC/DC, Bad Company, ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eddie get the idea.

I studied jazz guitar under Partick Naylor ( and acoustic fingerstyle blues with Eric Bibb ( although I somehow still think of myself as a keyboard player who plays other things as well!
